This is an Open Meeting of AA, which means that all are welcome.<br \/>We meet every day at 6 PM Eastern Standard Time. We celebrate anniversaries<br \/>of one year or more and of 90 days the last Sunday of each month and our<br \/>business meetings are held on the third Wednesday of March, June, September and December.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>If you have any matters that need to be addressed prior, please send an email to 6pmmeeting@gmail.com.<\/p>\r\n<p><br \/>Please visit our website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.6pmmeeting.com\">www.6pmmeeting.com<\/a> for more information and links<br \/>to AA readings.<\/p>\r\n<p><br \/>We ask that from this point forward, you continue to keep your volume muted<br \/>until it is your time to share. Additionally, our group asks that if you\u2019re eating,<br \/>smoking, vaping, using the telephone or engaged in any activity that might be a<br \/>distraction to others, please turn your camera off for those moments.<\/p>\r\n<p><br \/>Chat is open throughout the meeting, but we ask that you use chat respectfully<br \/>and limit whole group chats especially during the lead. Please make sure you are<br \/>chatting about the right thing to the right person at the right time.<\/p>\r\n<p><br \/>My name is _______________ and I am an alcoholic. We open each meeting with<br \/>the <strong>A.A. Preamble:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience,<br \/>strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem<br \/>and help others recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is<br \/>a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, we are<br \/>self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect,<br \/>denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in<br \/>any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Is there anyone counting days in their first year of sobriety who would like<br \/>to say, \u201cHello\u201d and share their day count? We ask you this not to embarrass<br \/>you, but to get to know you better.<br \/>6. Is there anyone celebrating an anniversary of one year or more in the<br \/>month of ______________?<br \/>7. Are there any announcements for the good of AA?<br \/>8. Our group encourages everyone to consider having a sponsor. If you are<br \/>willing to be a sponsor or are looking for a sponsor please post that in the<br \/>chat.
